Are you ready to HOP?
This year's date are February 5 & 6, 2016. Place is the same: Mount Kisco Holiday Inn. Please mark your calendar!
This year we are collecting un-opened food items to donate to a local food pantry. Please bring a food donation.
Vendors & Mini-classes
Please welcome back our vendor friends; Quilt Basket; Sue's Fabric World; Fabric Mart; Come Quilt With Me; SoKe, LLC; Quilt Plus and Pinwheels. Please welcome our new vendors: Sew Many Creations, Dearest Boy and Center For Discovery.
Vendors will once again be teaching Hands on Mini Classes approximately 30 minutes each. Students will be given a kit and instructions to learn a new technique. Once the technique is learned, it may be applied to future projects.
Join Pat Yamin to learn more about the history of the Airplane block. Pat will entertain you with her Antique Airplane Quilt Collection as well as her many stories.
Jessica VanDenburgh's lecture will focus on Modern Quilting--what is it? am I a Modern Quilter? She will show quilts and blocks using various fabrics and layout choices to demonstrate modern vs. traditional quilting.
Tina Schembri will be our team leader and teacher as she shows us how to make charity rag quilts. (All skill levels!) Please join us throughout the weekend to put in a few stitches. No experience necessary. Please donate a fat ¼ and bits of batting (9” square minimum.)
